Alyesha is currently a teaching artist, as well as the Director of Program Integration, for Street Poets, Inc. - a non-profit mostly serving juvenile injustice-impacted youth. She spends much of her time in arts education, including administration, arts-organizing, teaching, curriculum design, and more.

Alyesha regularly facilitates and organizes poetry programming, while visiting classrooms, detention centers and other facilities to teach workshops and guest speak. In addition to poetry, Alyesha has taught professional development and public speaking.
Alyesha has vast experience teaching for various and diverse backgrounds, settings and demographics.
